If Canva could talk, it would probably start with: “Oh great… another file named Untitled 45.”
You can almost hear it sighing every time you upload your eighth logo variation or change your font for the seventh time. But it’s not just sass.
Your Canva is a reflection of your business, and it’s telling you something very real about how you’re running your it. Today I’m sharing what your Canva chaos is trying to tell you, and what you can start doing about it today.
If your Canva homepage is a graveyard of “Untitled” documents, random logos, and forgotten graphics… that’s not a Canva problem.
When your designs are disorganised, it reflects a deeper need for clarity and structure in your business. You’re wasting time, losing track of content, and making things harder than they need to be.
You need to create a system. Start by simply naming your files properly and using folders. Even organising one thing today (like all your brand photos or templates) can shift the energy.
Still swapping fonts every time you post?
Changing colours depending on your mood?
When your branding is inconsistent, your audience starts to feel unsure about you too. And without trust, people don’t buy.
Build your Canva Brand Kit (yes, even just the basics!) and commit to using it. When your visuals are consistent, you’ll feel more like the pro you actually are.
Still fiddling with spacing?
Nudging the font by one pixel?
Making version 18 of a post you haven’t published yet?
Friend, that’s not productivity. That’s perfectionism. And it’s stealing your time and momentum.
Let it be good enough. Share the thing. Tweak the next one.
Growth comes from movement, not obsessing.
How you show up in Canva is often how you show up in your business.
Scattered? Overwhelmed? Disorganised?
Same. But the good news? Shifting your design habits will start shifting your biz habits too.
Start with a mini spring clean.
Choose ONE area to tidy.
Upload your logo files to your Brand Kit.
Name five old designs.
Create one folder.
You’ll feel instantly lighter.
One of my Co+Creation Design Club clients recently told me:
“I was able to take a coach’s Canva template and easily make it feel like mine, because I just opened my Brand Kit. I didn’t even think about the branding. It was already done!”
When your brand identity is sorted, design becomes easy. And that ease ripples through your whole business.
Canva is a mirror. It reflects the clarity (or chaos) you bring into it. So give it structure. Give it confidence. Give it your best…and it will become one of your most powerful business tools.
