You know that feeling when you finally post something: a Canva graphic, a reel, a launch promo…and instead of celebrating, your brain immediately says:
“That could’ve looked better…”
“Why didn’t I do it sooner?”
“Ugh, I should’ve planned more.”
I’ve been there. But what if I told you something radical?
You’re already doing so many things RIGHT in your business.
Not “once you hit 6-figures” right.
Not “when your brand finally feels perfect” right.
Right now. Today. As you are.
Let’s talk about why you need to stop ignoring your growth, and how celebrating it might just be the mindset shift that fuels your next big breakthrough.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever posted something to Instagram with one eye closed, hoping no one actually sees it because you didn’t feel “ready.”
But guess what? That post matters.
That slightly awkward email? That first reel? That pitch you sent before feeling fully confident?
Those are moments are what build a consistent, trustworthy brand over time.
You don’t need to feel ready to be making progress. You just need to be willing.
Perfection is overrated, especially in branding.
Yes, consistency matters … but trying to perfect your colours, fonts and visuals before you’ve used them is like trying to bake the perfect cake without ever turning the oven on. You need to use your brand to understand it.
I tell my students all the time,
“Post in the messy middle.”
Because real-world use gives you feedback, clarity, and confidence faster than sitting on designs in silence ever will.
You might not be seeing fireworks… but quiet growth is still growth.
And you’re doing it post by post, call by call, day by day.
If you looked back at your graphics, your messaging or even your mindset from 6 or 12 months ago … I bet you’d see real, tangible growth.
So take a second to actually look back and you’ll realise you’ve come further than you think.

Here’s something I need you to hear, Being teachable is a strength, not a weakness.
If you’re here, reading this blog, listening to my podcast, or watching my YouTube … it means you care about improving. And people who care about improving? They grow faster, because they’re open to feedback, change and levelling up.
Never underestimate how powerful that is.
You’re still here. You’re still trying.
You’re still finding the grit to keep going, even when launches flop or algorithms shift or your Canva inspo board feels… uninspiring.
That, my friend, is resilience.
That’s one of the biggest markers of success I’ve seen in business … just not giving up.
So if all you’ve done today is keep going, I’m proud of you.
This might be the most important thing I said in the whole episode:
“Nothing you share is a failure … it’s feedback.”
If something doesn’t land the way you hoped, it’s not proof you suck … it’s data.
It’s information you can use to tweak, adjust and try again.
You don’t need to nail it every time. You just need to keep learning from what worked and what didn’t … and let that shape your next step.
That reframe alone has saved my creativity more times than I can count.
