Why I Switched from Squarespace to Showit

I’d been on Squarespace for 9 years — it served me well! But when their update didn’t support my old setup, I had to start from scratch. That push led me to discover Showit… and honestly, I’m obsessed.

It feels like Canva for websites — all the drag-and-drop customisation a designer dreams of. Plus, its blog system is built on WordPress, so my 200+ podcast blog posts are fully SEO-optimised.

💡 Tip: If you’re moving to Showit, get a template — I use one from Emma Troy and I’m obsessed.

My All-In-One Backend Platform: Kartra

Emails. Landing pages. Courses. Checkouts. Kartra handles it ALL. I used to need three or four different tools to do what Kartra now does in one — with no zaps or tech headaches.

It’s not the cheapest, but it pays for itself in simplicity and saved time. If you’re growing and want to centralise everything, this is gold.

Canva Pro (Obviously 💜)

Canva Pro is a MUST for creating beautiful, consistent graphics without the overwhelm. From social posts to lead magnets to client work — it does it all.

If you’re still on the free version and designing regularly, upgrading is a no-brainer.

Content Repurposing: CastMagic + Opus Clip

Here’s the secret to how I turn one podcast episode into a mountain of content:

CastMagic: I upload the audio and it spits out titles, blogs, captions, and more.
Opus Clip: AI-powered video editing that picks the juiciest moments from my YouTube uploads and turns them into social-ready reels. YES please.

It’s outsourcing without the human… but in the best way!

Lead Generation: Interact Quiz + ManyChat

My “What’s Your Brand Style?” quiz runs on Interact. It’s how I grow my list every day — automatically.

And ManyChat? It’s my cheeky little tool that sends DMs when people comment certain words on Instagram. (Spoiler: You can try it at the end of this post 👇)

Free Tools I STILL Use

Asana → Project + task management. Keeps me and my team organised.
Slack → Communication with my team and clients. Simple. Free. Effective.

Don’t feel pressure to use what everyone else is using. Use what saves you time, energy and sanity. And track your subscriptions so you know what’s worth it!
