Whether we like it or not we generally DO judge a book by it’s cover. At least at a first glance…and sometimes that first glance is all you’ll get for a potential client to see you and decide whether you’re the one for them (or not!). Make your first impression count!
Everyone has their own style – even a brand. Whenever you see purple as you’re scrolling your feed, you think of a certain brand. We make these connections subconsciously all the time – use this to your advantage so your brand is instantly reliable and recognisable.
Good design can commutate the same thing as a bad design with less words. It connects with your audience and helps them to actually understand what you’re saying. When something is hard to understand we tend to give up. We don’t want to your potential clients to give up on you!
Add Value $$$
We all know “branding” is important..we see it all the time with products even on our trips to the supermarket. A good brand (and branding) will encourage us to buy a specific product AND spend more on it – even if it’s the same product on the inside!! This too, is possible with YOUR brand.
Good design connects. It calls to your target audience “Pick me! I’m the one you need!”. Your design does NOT have to appeal to everyone, but it does need to appeal to YOUR people. If this isn’t done well you risk losing the people you actually want to work with.
Send the RIGHT Message
Your words can say one thing but your graphics can say another. Good design makes sure that your message is clear, and it’s meaning clearer. Make sure your audience aren’t misunderstanding your message!
